Amy DeLisio

Amy DeLisio, MPH, RDN, serves as CEO of Dairy Council of California.

Meet staff member, Amy DeLisio.Amy DeLisio, MPH, RDN, serves as CEO of Dairy Council of California, where she leads efforts to elevate the health of children and communities through science-based nutrition education and advocacy. She combines strategic expertise and executive leadership to drive statewide initiatives that promote nutrition equity, strengthen partnerships across the public health and agriculture sectors, and advance dairy’s role in health outcomes and sustainable food systems.


With more than two decades of experience in public health and nutrition, Amy has a proven track record of leadership and impact. She previously served as the Executive Director at the Center for Wellness and Nutrition, where she grew the program nationally, secured major public health grants, and led a team of 30+ professionals to deliver systems-focused nutrition interventions. Her earlier roles include Program Director at the Public Health Institute, Public Health Nutrition Supervisor for the California Department of Public Health, and Nutrition Consultant for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

Amy holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Psychology from Youngstown State University. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health in Leadership at the University of Illinois Chicago. 
Outside of work, Amy enjoys staying active, exploring nature, and traveling to experience new cultures and cuisines and coffee (with cream of course).
