Founded in 1919, Dairy Council of California is funded by California’s dairy farmers and processors and is headquartered in Sacramento, California. We operate under the direction of the California Department of Food and Agriculture and serve as the dairy community’s contribution to community health.

Dairy Council of California’s team of registered dietitian nutritionist, and nutrition, education and communications experts are always interested in welcoming professionals to join our cause. We believe:

• Communities should be supported to ensure equitable access to nutrition education and healthy foods.

Through our cause and shared values, our team of experts brings together educators, health and foodservice professionals, change-makers and community leaders to elevate the health of children and communities by promoting lifelong healthy eating patterns.

Dairy Council of California prioritizes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA) to address inequities impacting community nutrition and to build an inclusive work climate.
